From May 16 until July 11, 2016, a number of Western Sydney University staff members participated in an 8 Week Staff Weight Loss Challenge. The challenge was organised by the campus gym at Hawkesbury and involved staff having a full body composition scan at the beginning and end of the challenge. Many staff worked extremely hard during the 8 weeks and their efforts should be congratulated.
The winners and results are as follows;
1st Place – Barbara DRIGO with a 2.3% Body Fat loss
2nd Place – Russell COOKE with a 2.0% Body Fat loss
3rd Place – Rebecca BREUST with a 1.7% Body Fat Loss
Special mentions also need to go to Michelle CORBETT and Julian REEVES who both lost 0.7% Body Fat. The winners and runners up also achieved outstanding results in muscle mass gain and in their overall wellness score.
